How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We want to be crystal clear when it comes to managing your expectations; our website is stock managed to show you what items are available for same day dispatch and those which are externally warehoused and therefore, will take a little longer to arrive with you.

Simply make your product selections and a message will pop up telling you how long it will take us to dispatch your order; we call this our product availability message. If you are happy with the product availability message on the item, checkout your order and we will ship your order in the timeframe stated.

If you have lots of items in your basket, please use the longest product availability message to work out when your order will arrive. We care about our environmental impact, so we don't split ship orders unless you get in touch to request that we do so. We will let you know on your order confirmation when we expect your order will arrive with you.

Whilst we do our best to meet the handling times stated in the product availability message, occasionally we can experience some delays in the delivery network. At these times, a team member will email you to keep you updated on the progress of your order.

Which couriers do you use?

Before choosing a courier, please make sure you are happy with the product availability message as these handling times apply before we ship your order. If it doesn’t show “Express warehouse: immediate despatch”, it will not leave us on the same day you have placed the order.

We use FedEx, DPD and Royal Mail for most of our deliveries. Some large items may come with other trusted 3rd party couriers.

Our Royal Mail economy service is usually delivered in two - three days. You will receive a text message and an email confirming the day of delivery; Royal Mail provide a four hour time window for delivery. Please note this is a size and weight-restricted service of maximum weight 2kg and maximum length cannot exceed 61cm. If your order exceeds this you must select DPD or FedEx.

FedEx and DPD are delivered next working day from point of despatch for UK mainland addresses or in two working days for Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, and Irish addresses. You will receive a text message and an email confirming the day for delivery.

Selecting FedEx or DPD does not mean your order will bypass our handling times; FedEx and DPD are from the point of despatch, not the point of purchase.

If the checkout only offers you a £10 delivery rate this is because the item is too large to be handled by FedEx or DPD; these goods will arrive via another courier on a 2-3 working day service.

International Delivery

Please note if your order weight is just over this threshold, we reserve the right to remove packaging to bring the weight within our requirements.

You want to change your delivery address

Should you wish to change the delivery address on your order, please notify our team via help@onlineforcanine.co.uk as soon as possible to allow us to amend your order.

If goods have already been despatched, we cannot amend your details and our standard returns policy will need to be followed to receive a refund.

If goods are delivered to the address stated on your order and it is incorrect, Online for Canine accepts no liability for loss and it will be the customer's responsibility to retrieve the parcel from the address.

 

If the property is empty when our courier attempts to deliver

If you are not available to take the delivery, you may request an alternative date when our couriers send you a delivery window.

Should you request your delivery be left in a secure location, please state this to our customer care team and they will inform the courier. Please be aware that goods will not be insured if they are left without a signature upon your request.


Failed delivery

Our couriers will attempt to deliver your goods three times.

Upon the first attempt, a driver will leave a calling card / send a SMS / send an email with details of when the redelivery will take place. If you are unavailable to take delivery on the stated day, it is your responsibility to notify the courier directly. After three attempts, goods will automatically be returned to the depot where you will have seven days to arrange collection.


Should you arrange to collect the delivery from your local depot, it is your responsibility to collect within a seven-day period; after this time frame goods will be returned to Online for Canine Limited and upon receipt, the value of your order (minus outgoing postage, packaging and return carriage) will be credited to you.

Reimbursement will be sought from the customer should this total exceed the original order value.

 

Here at Online for Canine, we appreciate your loyalty and as such, we offer a paw reward scheme on all purchases made at www.onlineforcanine.co.uk; this means for every £1 you spend with us, you receive 1 point.

How our paw reward scheme works

For every order you place, you will earn 1% of the transaction value in paw reward points. These points will automatically be added to your account so ensure you are logged in to get your reward points!

For example, if you spend £100 in our store, you will receive £1 in Paw Rewards which you can use against your next order; alternatively, you can build up your paw reward points for a special purchase.

Certain products are exempt from earning paw reward points including any consumable products.

Checking your reward points

If you want to check your reward points, click onto the "Sign up and earn Paw Rewards" which you will find on the bottom left corner of your screen. Click login to check existing points or "join now" if you have not shopped with us before.

Here you will be able to see a list of the orders you have placed, with details of how many points you have received for each order. Please note, if you return an order for a refund, you will lose your paw reward points associated with that order.

You will be able to see your current points balance and the value this equates to, which you can apply as a discount for your next order.

Spending your points

To spend your paw reward points, ensure you are logged into your customer account.

At the checkout, you can choose to apply your paw reward points discount by clicking on the reward points tab and selecting, use reward points. This will apply your discount to your order. You must have earned 250 points (equivalent to £2.50) before you can spend your points.

If you want to build up your points for a future purchase, just continue to checkout as normal.

Please note that our paw reward points have no cash value beyond our promise to redeem them at the stated rate, for as long as we choose to operate the scheme. If you pay for an order by redeeming paw reward points, should you return a product for a refund, we will return the paw reward points you used to purchase that item to your account.
